Are we seduced by the Cult of Leadership?
July 23, 2010
he amount of management literature about “Leadership” is huge and continues to grow. Leadership is covered from
just about every angle, e.g. ethics, intelligence, heroism, cunning, character, risk, strength, meanness, weaknesses, spiritual,
religious, sexual, psychological, historical and other traits ad infinitum. Personally, a lot of the material that I have read
on the subject, at best it seems to be wishful thinking and at worse, apologetic drivel.

On Post-Capitalism
July 17, 2010
Dead things such as The Banner are only the financial fertilizer that will make it possible. It is their proper function.
hat lies ahead beyond Capitalism? How will this come about? Is there a simple unifying theory which we, mere mortals,
can understand? It is possible that no such theory will ever exist perhaps because the subject is too complex. It is also likely that
“Post-capitalism”
is already starting to manifest itself onto the daily scene. Therefore, we should not expect some grandiose declaration by some
“authoritative” institution. In order to formulate a possible “post-capitalism” scenario, let us first define capitalism.

ikis have been around for over a decade. During this time they have proven to
be an extremely useful tool for many organizations and the internet at large.
Wikipedia.org
is one of the top ten websites and the poster child of what a successful wiki should be.
It is no accident that an immense number of websites reference Wikipedia via hyperlinks;
including this one. Nevertheless, creating a vibrant and successful wiki within a larger
organization is not a trivial task. We will describe many of issues to consider while
engaging such project.

In Defense of the Borg
April 05, 2010
ho are the Borg anyway? According to Wikipedia “The Borg are a fictional pseudo-race of cybernetic organisms depicted in the
Star Trek universe.” They were cleverly designed to be an extremely powerful and evil race to fight against Star Trek's “virtuous”
Federation of Planets. Could it be that the powers-that-be have created a Boogeyman in
order to place all the attention upon him, whilst avoiding any of it upon themselves?
